Providing a Living Wage

In order to help pay staff better, we have instituted an additional 7.5% charge to your bill to help pay for those benefits to our part & full-time staff. This is not a tip, but goes directly to paying for these benefits and higher wages. Here is an example of what this is paying for:

 

-Higher than average pay

-Annual raises. Given even during the pandemic

-Paid vacation for all full-time staff. Starting with 1 week paid and up to 3 weeks paid vacation after 2 full years employment.

-100% employer paid health insurance for full-time staff

-Company Sponsored SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan with 3% matching funds

-Year-end bonuses

-6 Paid Holidays off

-Paid sick time for full time staff

-4 Free chiropractic visits per year

-$100 annual work shoe stipend for full-time staff

-Paid bereavement leave

-Snow Day Pay-If we are closed due to inclement weather, all full-time hourly staff get paid full pay

-50% discount on staff food

-25% discount to the Walpole Valley Farms store

-Fun staff events- Trips to Food Shows, Amusement parks, deep sea fishing and more
